The amount you are paying for each psychology session after you receive your Medicare rebate from having a Mental Health Care Plan is $68.15.

 

My rate per session is $210 as I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Masters Degree in psychology. If you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can claim a rebate of $141.85 from Medicare. This means the total you are out of pocket is $68.15. I can process this for you and it is usually in your account in between 1-2 days.

If you wish to come privately, that is, not attend your GP, my full rate as a Clinical Psychologist is $210. In addition, if you require more than the 10 sessions, the fee remains stable at $210 per session.
